This is my story
My name is Nikki and I have struggled with my weight since the age of around 14 when puberty kicked in. I have had 3 children 2 being by cesearian and after each child I got bigger. Then at the age of 32 I had to have a full hystorectomy and was put on HRT tablets. Since then I have been unable to shed a pound no matter how hard I try. I have been on every diet and every slimming pill and every excercise regime you can throw at me and still to no joy I have suffered a great deal with depression and have at some points been so low I do not want to leave the house. So I opted for the gastic band on May 24th of 2008 and up to now I have lost 23lbs. I got my first band fill on the 2nd July and I think for the first fill it is maybe a little tight as I havent been able to keep alot down. I am struggling with what I can eat and the feeling you get is like things going down the wrong way. I am happy with my weight I have lost so far but would have liked it to come off quicker but people whom have had weight problems like myself know they want it to happen overnight. I am positive now about my future and am keeping everything crossed that this will work for me.
