This is my story
HI, Im fifty years old and like Anne decided not to spend my fifties[like me twenties,thirties and forties] yo yo dieting. Three weeks ago I had a gastric band fitted. The last three weeks have been pretty emotional with my moods fluctuating a lot.
The good news is that ive lost a stone so far.
I,ve had no contact from my provider yet which is a shame as i've been in more pain than expected and could've done wit a bit of reasurance.
I.m really pleased to have found this website as it's so comforting to read that others have been through similar and to ask questions and get get support.
My Mum and hubbie[i remarried last year] have been great but I hav'nt told my son's as they live abroad. I have told my daughter who's 17.
