This is my story
Ever since I was about 10 I have battled with my weight. I went into hospital a thin little girl and came out nearly a year later fat girl. I had a very difficult childhood. As a teenager I was about a stone over weight which I could live with. Then when I got married and had my children the weight went back. I then tried different diets some worked for a while others did not. I did get down to my ideal weight eating like a bird for some time. Then it started to go back on again. No matter what I did nothing worked for me. The dietician that my GP sent me to said my food intake was healthy. Which I knew. It was the quantity I was eating was the problem. I went to the gym 3 times a week for 2-3 hrs but that had no effect. My husband is very strong willed, and just can not understand why I just don't loose the weight. I had the band fitted in November. I am looking forward to the new me. Have lost 3st by the end of January 07. Had my second fill taken out due to reflux problems and not being able to keep food down. So I am now finding it hard. I would like to hear from people who has had the same problem and how did the get over this.
