This is my story

This is my diary about myself and my lead up to my gastric band operation on the 23 Sept 2006.
I'm 42 yrs old and I have three children aged 18 (Daniel) 17 (Jamie) and a 6 month old (William).
I was ok, although overweight until I had William where I got postnatal depression and my weight ballooned after I had him to 18 and half stone (I'm 5ft 9ins). I was careful while pregnant as I had gestational diabetes and I had to look after my baby inside me.
I'm on anti depresants and feel fine now but I now have even more weight to lose. Hence the gastric band operation which I paid for last sat 16th sept with some savings I had put by.
I'm trying to stay positive.

News UPDATE
Now having to have the band repositioned on 18th Jan 2007!!! Not happy and dreading the whole thing.............the op..........and being back to square one
