This is my story
Well I'm 48 now I’ve been overweight most of my life, I drive a HGV for my sins which is the ideal job to keep your weight down, as a kid I did all the usual things bikes, football, then as a teenager I discovered the local ice rink, I would skate 6 nights per week hardly ever getting off the ice, but for some reason I was still on the chunky side I've never had a sweet tooth but the chippy was never far away, it seems that I ate late at night so all the skating was a waste of time going to bed on a full stomach. My mom was one of the clear your plate types so even if I was full I was still encouraged to eat more. Then as I got older the weight kept pilling on, a mate of mine was a body builder so I started to train with him ate healthily then we all seemed to get married then all got made redundant, this is when the lorry driving started so I was away from home a lot eating in greasy spoons or a chippy. Then I got divorced after working on the continent I "ate really healthily while in Europe". Anyway truth was I was 21st 7lb the job finished, me and the wife split up had no job advised by my solicitor to stay out of work due to legal aid, but found I could not sleep at night due to not working and having loads of energy, so I decided to really get fit. I started going to the gym 3 times a week swimming 2-3 times a week and doing Ju jitsu twice a week. The weight fell off me like you wouldn’t believe in 6 months I'd gone from a 54" waist to 32" I was down to 14st 10lb fit and for the first time in my life muscular. Well long story short got remarried to a real smasher "Julie" started driving again put all the weight back on regretted it ever since, developed type 2 diabetes so decided after watching super size surgery to have a band fitted lost 3 1/2 stone due to diet had 2 band fills and not lost any weight since so getting p***ed off having another fill soon so hopefully they will get it right this time. That’s my story so far.SO WATCH THIS SPACE............HOPEFULLY.
