The government announced a £372 million obesity tackling plan earlier this year but has still not put it into place, says Personnel Today. January's proposed 'Healthy Weight Healthy Lives' project pledged to unite employees and workers to promote health at work. However, HR workers are said to be disappointed by the lack of activity so far. HR director at charity Leonard Cheshire Disability, Clare Smith commented: "Our experience working with the government is there are lots of nice words and good ideas.
