A health expert has issued a grim warning to a 15-year-old girl who weighs 33st.09-08-2008
Dr Colin Wayne, chairman of the National Obesity Forum, dubbed former Gravesend girl Georgia Davis an "absolute tragedy". According to the Sun newspaper Georgia, who now lives in Aberdare, South Wales, munches through a massive 13,358 calories each day. The average 15-year-old of her height should weigh around 9st 4lb, it said. But Dr Wayne said Georgia's weight would have a "serious effect on her life prospects." He added: "She is at high risk of developing a heart attack, stroke, and certain forms of cancer. "Her life span is going to be seriously curtailed."
