Vanessa Barker designer behind the brand says, “These are fun clothes created from the highest quality silks and soft cottons that look great and feel amazing against the skin. With the success of our resort wear, now worn throughout the Mediterranean, creating sexy red carpet party dresses, I felt, was the natural next step for the brand.’
This essence of simplicity and freedom, is inspired by Vanessa’s childhood growing up in Anguilla in the British West Indies, and at the heart of Papillon Bleu is a work ethic for all employees, ensuring high standards of working conditions, health and safety, and fair wages.
